Northwest Congress 2023 Show Information
Entry Fees:
$75 unlimited - Fee entitles each shower to a full six foot table for both days of showing.
$55 unlimited - Fee entitles each shower to a full six foot table for one day of showing.
Additional tables are $65.00 each for both days or $45 each for one day.
Proxy fee is $50 unlimited or $8 per model, and does not include a table (provide name of proxy shower with entry).

Tables will be provided and assigned; each unlimited entry will have a full 6-foot table. If you wish to be located next to someone in particular, please state so on your entry form and I will do my best to accommodate your request. Sales are allowed from show tables. If you pay for both days of showing, you will have the same table for both days and may leave things in the show hall over night.
The door is locked before I leave and unlocked when I return. We have never had any issues with anything missing in years past. That being said, all showers will be required to have a signed entry form stating that by attending Northwest Congress, they hereby release Northwest Congress, the Show Committee and Kent Commons from liability for loss, damage or injury to any person or property which may occur during show activities.
$1 Add A Horse:
You may add one horse over the class limit with a $1 buy-in. Please put the dollar under the horse when you put it on the show table. No more than TWO buy ins per class per person.
Divisions:
SATURDAY
Open Original Finish Plastic (OF) - as released from factory, with no alterations to finish. Restored and repaired models may be entered as long as no more than 5% of the original body color has been restored
OF Peter Stone (PS) - as above, for all factory finish Stone Company models
OF Plastic Mini (OFM) - as above but Little Bits/Pebbles scale or smaller, foals and ponies to be in scale; all OF plastic mini entries must show in this division
Custom Performance - for all customized and artist resin model
SUNDAY
Artist Resin (AR) - any artist resin sculptures, Traditional, Classic, and larger than Pebble/LB scale.
AR Mini (MAR) - any artist resin sculptures, Pebbles/LB and Chips/CM scales
Custom (CM) - any model that has been customized from its original factory finish, Traditional, Classic, and larger than Pebble/LB scale
CM Mini (MCM) - any model that has been customized from its original factory finish, Pebbles/LB and Chips/SM scale
Original Finish Performance - for OF plastic and OF china/resin models only
Saturday Fun Classes - judged at lunch and limited to two entries per person. These are not NAMHSA qualifying classes. No living entries please!

2016-present, amateur customs *feedback will be provided by the judge.
Awards:
Classes placed first through fifth. Paper flat ribbons will be given to first through fifth place models. Results will only be recorded and submitted to NAMSHA for first and second place. Overall and division champions and reserves to be announced There will be NO rosettes this year.
Tags/Horse List:
Tags are required for all models shown. Please use white string tags with the number and breed of your model. Region 1 Tag Saver Program numbers may be used. You must provide a list of your show models including: Tag Number, Horse Name, Finish (OF or CM) and Breed by the beginning of the show, by 0900 on 10/21/23. You may add individual horses during the show, but I ask that the majority of your list be submitted by Saturday morning.

There is no entry limit per shower but there is a two horse limit per halter class, and three horse limit per workmanship, collectability and performance class. You may, however, register as many models as you wish.
Judging Criteria:
Breed Classes - Will be judged for appropriate breed specific characteristics, anatomy, and confirmation.
Collectability Classes - Will be judged on rarity, age, condition, and desirability.
DOCUMENTATION IS MANDATORY TO ENTER A COLLECTABILITY CLASS.
Workmanship Classes - Will be judged on technique, color selection, finish work and detailing.

Rules:
- Alcohol is not allowed in the show hall at any time, per the Kent Commons rules. Violators will be asked to leave and may forfeit all show fees and right to participate in the show.
- All normal show rules apply; have fun, be a good sport, respect the judges, don't touch models unless given permission.
- No entries depicting animal abuse. Please leave any entries that portray an abused animal or an abuse situation at home.
- Please limit the size of documentation for breed or collectability to no larger than an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper.
- No fee/entry sharing is allowed. Everyone must personally own the models they are exhibiting, unless they are being proxy shown.
- The refund policy is as follows; All requests for refunds must be made in writing at least 7 days prior to the show. Refunds will only be made for extenuating circumstances.
- There will be a $55 charge for any checks returned for insufficient funds.
